About Us

Dr. Robert Oman received the B.S. degree from Northeastern University and the M.S. and Ph.D. Degrees from Brown University, all in Physics. He has taught Mathematics and Physics at many colleges and Universities including University of Minnesota, Northeastern University in Boston and University of South Florida. He also has done research for Litton Industries, United Technologies and NASA, where he developed the theoretical model for the first pressure gauge sent to the moon. He is the author of numerous technical articles, books and how-to-study books CD's and videos.

Dr. Oman's vast teaching experience includes interaction with literally tens of thousands of students just like you. He has been the most sought out professor in large Physics departments by undergraduate students eager to understand concepts and how to solve Physics or Calculus problems.

Dr. Daniel Oman (son) received the B.S. degree in Physics from Eckerd College and both his M.S. in Physics and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida. He taught Physics at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. After doing research on lasers and solar cells, Dan joined AT&T Bell Labs in semiconductor manufacturing and is now located in Singapore as an Engineering Manager with LSI Logic/Chartered Semiconductor.

In his 5 years of teaching, Dan also spent a lot of time 1 on 1 with students and learned the best ways of explaining the concepts and guiding a student step by step through problem solving. He was always very highly rated in student evaluations of the teacher. His corporate experience allows him to present material in a very practical way.

Dan has also tutored students in Singapore Secondary 3 and 4 during 2009 and is doing full time Private Tuition in 2010.
