Dr. Robert
Oman received the B.S. degree from Northeastern University and the M.S. and Ph.D. Degrees from Brown University, all in Physics. He has taught
Mathematics and Physics at many colleges and Universities including
University of Minnesota, Northeastern University in Boston and University of South Florida. He also has done research for
Litton Industries, United Technologies and NASA, where he developed the
theoretical model for the first pressure gauge sent to the moon. He is the
author of numerous technical articles, books and how-to-study books CD's and
videos.
Dr. Oman's vast teaching experience includes interaction with
literally tens of thousands of students just like you. He has been the most
sought out professor in large Physics departments by undergraduate students
eager to understand concepts and how to solve Physics or Calculus problems.

Dr. Daniel
Oman (son) received the B.S. degree in Physics from Eckerd College and both
his M.S. in Physics and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University
of South Florida. He taught Physics at the University of Central Florida in
Orlando. After doing research on lasers and solar cells, Dan joined
AT&T Bell Labs in semiconductor
manufacturing and is now located in Singapore as an Engineering Manager with LSI Logic/Chartered
Semiconductor.
In his 5
years of teaching, Dan also spent a lot of time 1 on 1 with students and
learned the best ways of explaining the concepts and guiding a student step
by step through problem solving. He was always very highly rated in student
evaluations of the teacher. His corporate experience allows him to present
material in a very practical way.
Dan has also tutored students
in Singapore Secondary 3 and 4 during 2009 and is doing full time Private
Tuition in 2010. |
